If you’re applying to CU remember that CU does not drop failed grades so if you’re struggling in a class you’re first semester or having trouble adjusting to the college environment it is 100% better to drop the class than fail it bc that shit is on your GPA forever so check those drop by dates. CU is lying when they say it looks bad to have a W on your record as it looks a 100 times better than a D and it won’t fuck your GPA.

Once again, my time to journal.
All I can say is "oh my, how did we get here so fast?"
We're now full swing into winter and we got about 1.5 feet of snow over the last week total. I'm moving forward with three deliverables -- all due either this weekend or the end of the month.
I just have to get through these next two weeks and I'll be in the clear, mostly. The middle of the semester is now less than three weeks away -- wow. How did this happen so quickly?
well it's now the middle of the week, and my journal time is here.
Some good developments:
My research mentor approved my prospectus so I get to advance to preparing the research design and fleshed out proposal. T minus 18 days until the deadline.
My old/current employer reached out and wants to re-hire me if I'm interested.
My currently on-hiatus research internship also is interested in potentially hiring me. I have a meeting with them tomorrow so let's see how that goes.
I also had a good late-night chat with a good classmate friend last night at a half coffee half cocktail bar -- it almost felt like the before times when you could meet friends and go get drinks at nice cute places
I did get both my school and work deliverables out the door on time (phew)
Some annoying things:
I still haven't gotten my STI screening because I kinda need to be here at the apartment because
my toilet needs to get fixed and I submitted a maintenance request on Monday and I haven't heard a peep from the management
