Cadillac V Blackwing 😤 🇺🇸 ______________________________________ [6/4/19] After seeing Cadillac send out two prototypes of their new true V cars out onto the racetrack during a race in Detroit, rumors are now swirling over what they will be called and the go to name is CT5 V Blackwing & CT4 V Blackwing! This means that the Blackwing name is not exclusive to the new 4.2L TT V8 but rather a new high performance line for Cadillac! Also for these new top tier models we can see a new lower grille design, new open intakes on the sides where the LED lights are and on the side of the cars new side air vents! 🔥 [@Allcarnews Spec Sheet] Powering the CT5-V is a 3.0L TT V6 making 355HP and 400 lb-ft of torque paired to a 10 speed auto gearbox and rear or AWD... The CT4-V has a rather large 2.7L Turbo 4 making 320HP and 369 lb-ft of torque paired to a 10 speed gearbox to either the rear or all four wheel. The upcoming CT5 V Blackwing or whatever it will be called should get the 4.2L TT V8 and the CT4V Blackwing should get the TT V6 from the old ATSV or from the new CT5V! I expect around 450+HP in the true CT4 V and over 600HP from the true CT5 V! but that’s all speculation for now! 🔥 So to be clear, this new performance like SHOUL work like this: regular CT5 and CT4 line, then the V line which is equivalent to a Audi S or BMW M340i,M550i and then the full on V Blackwing line equivalent to a M3/M5, RS model or full AMG 63 model! Some people thought Cadillac would call the top tier models the V4 and V5 but that just sounds like a blatant copy of BMW M and wouldn’t make sense if they were to make Perfoemance versions of the crossovers.
