I present to you my chainsaw man oc - Vincent! He's a love devil (yeeee that's cringeee) (dk if he's a hybrid or not) . I have other version where he's antagonist and where his not love devil

About him: Vincent is kind, charismatic, Intelligent, loving and caring family man. He likes dancing, singing, observe people's behavior, playing various musical instruments, reading, cooking, and taking care of others. Despite the difficulty of adapting to the new realities, he is trying to accept and adjust to them. He rll loves attention. Vincent may look like he's emotionless and lonely, but he's expressive, he likes making new acquaintances and bc of that, he has a lot of connections . He is heavily dependent on any kind of relationship. Throughout his life Vincent held many different jobs: a merchant, a musician, an artist, an actor, a conductor and etc. He grieved for his partners and children for a long time after their deaths. He is very worried about his loved ones and tries to protect them. He does not tolerate violence.

since it’s early on and they aren’t as intertwined and joined at the hip like they are in present, back when they had way less patience with each other and the arguing actually had more resentment and anger than the tired, exhausted and bitter banter they have now.

i think early on Iris probably pushed Nyx’s boundaries enough (not helping out in the house that he’s staying at without permission, being a general slob and leaving dozens of bottles everywhere etc) , nyx would probably have to physically haul and throw him out if he got pissed enough.

iris would scoff, because he isn’t that attached to the place anyway, but after that he probably got a bit antsy when they finally get back on decent enough terms for Iris to start staying over again because he got reminded that, yeah, the 1x1 metal cell in public safety isn’t comfortable nor does it provide much dignity. He also doesn’t want to be roaming the streets or hanging out in 24h stores too long for public safety to start hunting him down.
