#SuperDodgeBall Developed by #Technos Published by #CSGImagesoft Released in #1989 Rating 8 out of 10 the first spin-off sports title in the Kunio-kun series which includes Renegade, River City Ransom, Crash 'n' the Boys: Street Challenge and Nintendo World Cup. These games were "Americanized" to appeal to the Western gamers. The story was changed as well to better reflect a sports title. When I think of sports games on the NES I think of Blades of Steel, Mike Tyson's Punch-Out, Pro Wrestling, Temco Bowl and last but certainly not least Super Dodge Ball. The gameplay is great, the action is funny and challenging and playing with two players can ruin friendships. I loved this game and enjoyed playing it with my friends. We had countless tournaments at my house over the years. The teams in the game consist of, Team USA, Team All-Pro (USA), England, India, China, Kenya, Iceland, Japan, Russia and Team Shadow. There are the typical funny stereotypes represented for each country, each with their pros and cons. There are three game modes for a high replay value as well. I'd like to share a true and funny story. When I was in the 5th grade back in 94', we had a kid in our class named Douglas Wang. Doug was a fucking beast of a 5th grader and was by far the biggest kid in the school. He was 5'8" and pretty stocky. Well the entire 5th grade class faced him in gym in dodgeball. He was killing kids left and right, finally it was me vs him. He threw the ball with such velocity that it gave me a welt on my face, as Doug went to see if I was dead, the ball fell from sky and bounced on his back making me the winner. Doug if your out there somewhere, good game! #Nintendo #NES #VideoGames #Games #Gamer #Gaming #GamersLife #Retro #Classic #RetroGames #ClassicGames #InstaGamer #90s #Handsome_Rob_7 #TCOAG #GOGP #Handsome_Rob_7_The_NES_Years https://www.instagram.com/p/BnHLgeNlk6E/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=19xg76rcsj89
