now okay, maybe you're saying "lance, but he flirts and has flings like every other episode" and sure he does.. but that's different. yeah he's seen buying girls flowers, gifts, we see him hook up or at the least spend extra time with girls. and he can still BE an all-or-nothing while doing that. i think his flings are more a cry-- a way to spend time, make sure he's alive, fill a hole (pun not intended). it's fun, and he is still caring and protective of these people (i think he thinks he's kind of 'indebted' to these types of people), but they're not lovers. like think about that one date that just kept getting interrupted. he'd planned several dates with a girl, got dressed up, got food and flowers, really tried to go without interruptions. oh no doubt he's upset, but see how he reacts to getting pulled away from her. see the way he complains, how he's able to accept the change. if he was truly there 100%, if he was completely serious (not to say he was unserious but), he would've put up a fight. [check next paragraph] LOOK how he acts with stevie, guy would have faught tooth and nail, he could've ignored them, eloped. i know he holds his work/duty very highly, it IS his IDENTITY, but we see him stand his ground and this wasn't "worth it"

like let's think about him and stevie. she's engaged to Long. part of that tie is still connected to michael afterwards, not just an emotional way ("that's my fiancée"). he still has different levels of "love" for stevie when they meet again.. fuck he literally falls in love with her again and they get re-engaged. check how he treats her, where he takes her, how they spend their time. he could have easily done that for any other lady he'd had, but usually he just gets them flowers (mind you, he loves getting yellow roses... y'know the color rose for friendship), a meal, their safety, and that's the extent.

biggest sadness is that KITT’s engine doesn’t sound like a regular engine- bc it’s not, it’s using a jet engine which creates a very different sound. I looked at all the engines that ‘82 T/A could have n LISTENED to them [oh and let me tell you, that’s free boner town but that’s besides the point sorry] but he whines ! It’s definitely something i gotta go back n research bc i can’t imagine the actual differences that it’d cause. besides the sound, does he shake like he would with a regular engine? how different are his revs?

im probably obsessive over these details, i want to know the impact these changes have and how they work. and some of that is difficult bc this was the early 80s, and the show is talking about a concept of a car that doesn’t exist with abilities that don’t happen so even basing it off reality is.. false, really!

that makes me the most annoyed, bc im someone who loves adding details and needs to know the inner workings and obviously the actual car workings (or what’s salvaged) is different than how KITT would truly be.

but anyways it’s just me n all the useless facts i earned on 3rd gen trans ams. so much damn research ugh. yk KITT’s really turning me into a car guy. well transformers did it first but not to this degree.

why do i have twenty dates written down? why do i have eight different battalions and troops written? why do i have the counties n cities of LA written/pictured? what do you mean my photo gallary is cluttered with badges and ID cards….?
