     Her job was to guard the old man, while Mitsuki and Boruto were assigned to other tasks. Missions like these didn’t come by so often, to be out of town and on guard duty—- but it was to be expected. Bandits were a common nuisance around these places, even in peaceful times. The old man seemed to be fairly wealthy, so it was understandable why he’d worry about thieves.

     She stays hidden amongst branches, watching the old man as he made his way toward the nearby village to trade some goods. A thought that perhaps no trouble would come by was rendered false, as her eyes narrow at the sound of rustling grass. Seeing her client stumble onto the ground, she dashes in front of him, only to be met by the eyes of another man.

          “You don’t seem to be a bandit.” she comments. “—- What do you want with him?”

     Her hand reaches into her holster, her gaze now threatening his. Her tone is minatory, hoping to settle this with no casualty.
