so like last year, around like november, december, i stumbled across the crow strider au after seeing some of your memes. which of course sent me down a rabbithole. i spent the next, like day and a half shotgunning reading the csau. i literally read most of it in the course of one day

i was also in an art class that semester, drawing 1 at the local community college. the teacher said we could do whatever we wanted for our final, given that it was appropriate and we hit all the points he wanted (textural drawing)

so i spent an amount of hours that was in fact too many making my final for this class. would you like to know what the subject was?

them. it resonated so fuckin strongly and grabbed hold of my brain so fast and tightly that i couldnt have done anything else. im extremely proud of how it came out, even if it could be better. LOLAR needs a bit more contrast and jade’s ears and tail are hard to distinguish from the background, but otherwise im rly happy w it. its graphite, and some of the textures are rubbings. most are by hand though
