While I do love a good time-travel fic, I think most people are missing out on the drama and hilarity of Percy or Annabeth screaming for Apollon to come make sure a plague doesn’t happen. The demigods are from the Americas and the future, the Ancient Greece is not prepared for influenza or whatever we are just passively/asymptomatically carrying around. It would be worse than the bubonic plague. Think about how contagious the flu is.
