hello frens!
i need to express my frustration with a little rant. nope, i don't have the game nor the switch yet (the situation has become quite ironic at this point lmao) but it's not about it.
in the past few months i started following a bunch of animal crossing meme accounts on instagram bc i founded them to be extremely funny but there's a big difference between people here and on instagram (+all other platforms); i personally dont time travel (i'd be hard to, considering i don't have the game lmao) and i don't plan to (but who knows, maybe i will time travel in the future) but i found it extremely unfair when people call it "cheating". animal crossing is not a competitive game, it's a calming game that anybody can play at their own pace. why shaming people to do so? why shaming them to play their own way? they're not hurting anybody!!
there are people that work the entire day and the only time they can play is at night and maybe they'd like to experience the game during different hours and there's nothing wrong with it!
there are people that honestly just want to go further and further into the game and complete every mile stone, every "challenge", every collectible (i do that a lot in every single videogame i play, i'm a collector, i like to do all quests and collect everything).
and there are people that just want to play at fast speed.
stop telling people how they're supposed to play the game, let's just enjoy each other's company and help each other π₯Ί
