After Ladybug brought Lady Fairy to meet with Chat Noir, got to know each other, Including told him that she’s blind.

Chat Noir : I was wondering can you see, if the mask is covering your eyes like that. You’re an amazing hero.

Lady Fairy : Y- Yeah, thank you.

Ladybug : if you finished introducing yourselves, we have to find Dimensioner. He might hide somewhere.

Lady Fairy : I can’t feel the emotion of the person who will become my champion. Also, I try to call butterflies but no of them around.

Chat Noir : I wouldn’t be surprised. The most of Parisians have been scaring butterflies since Hawk Moth used it for Akumatized them.

Lady Fairy : Is that so, even if I have my fairy, they would not accept me.

Ladybug : That’s odd… I think I know why you can’t feel the emotion of persons. all of them are missing.

Chat Noir : No way! Was Dimensioner get them all?

A laugh sounds appear, causing all three heroes to immediately turn towards that sound.

Dimensioner : You’re riiiiiight, I’ve captured all the people you love in my dimension. I’m not only just pulling people from other dimensions, you know?

The three heroes are ready for fighting immediately. Although Lady Fairy is someone who is always hiding but she still is a hero. Her hands firmly held the staff. Then, a butterfly symbol appeared on the face of the villain.

Hawk Moth : Dimensioner. I’m sure that girl is Butterfly Miraculous holder. Even though it wasn’t what I thought but you have to make her join us!

Dimensioner gives a little nod and stares at Lady Fairy who was blocked by Ladybug and Chat Noir as shields.

Dimensioner : The little butterfly girl, what’s your name.

Lady Fairy : …. Lady Fairy.

Dimensioner : What a name that is full of dreams. Join me! Join Hawk Moth! And I’ll take you back to your home.

Ladybug : Don’t listen him!

Chat Noir : Lady Fairy is a hero like us! Don’t think she will join you.

Lady Fairy : I trust Chat Noir and Ladybug! If we can take you down, I can go back too!

Hawk Moth : Great. What a girl who is truly innocent. Then, take her Miraculous for me! Ladybug’s and Chat Noir’s too. My Akuma!

Dimensioner : Yes, Hawk Moth. So, I will take your Miraculous, Little Fairy. And imprison you in an empty dimension forever. You will definitely never return your home!

Ladybug : Chat Noir! Get her out of here. Hurry up!

Dimensioner : You’re blind, aren’t you? And your power doesn’t work. You’re so USELESS.

Lady Fairy grit. She hates the word ‘useless’ the most. but she couldn’t deny that she can’t do anything. She has no butterfly. Even if, she can find the person who will be the Champion for her, She still can’t give them the power.

She feels the hesitation from Chat Noir. He doesn’t want to leave his lady but he still doesn’t want to let another lady be captured.

Ladybug : Hurry-up!

Ladybug shouts again, more vehement tone. Then, Lady Fairy feels that she is being carried by Chat Noir and he jumps vigorously, Cause the sound of the wind into her ears.

After the moment, there was something sound and Ladybug’s scream.

Chat Noir : Ladybug!

Cat Noir pause for a moment. Tighten the butterfly girl in his arms and keep jumping.

Ladybug’s sound is gone. Only hear the wind sound and the laughter of the villain.

With Maketoys’ MTCD-05 Buster Skywing (their “Cross Dimensions” styled homage to the Transformers character Jetfire) coming in April, they’re giving us a bit of an advanced peak by releasing the black version, MTCD-05SP Buster Stealthwing this month. Being a sharp deco in its own right that matches in very well with either the good or bad guys in your Cross Dimensions collection, I think that this one is definitely worth checking out, especially as armor for your Striker Manus molds. See it in motion above and check out my thoughts and gallery below.

Presentation: The box is a thick, cardboard one with a glossed finish. The styling of the graphics and their layout reminds me a lot of the Striker Noir box which certainly isn’t bad. The item is packed in its robot mode well into its plastic clamshell along with the accessories.

Build: Buster Stealthwing is a plastic and made of good materials. The joints are a mixture of friction and soft ratchets with everything moving pretty smooth as well as feeling fluid while posing. Overall it’s certainly not a high-end piece but is definitely well made for what it is.

Accessories: Buster Stealthwing comes with weaponry that’s “technically” detachable from him for transformation and armor mode purposes but his forearm Blasters and winged backpack definitely look the most natural attached to him in both his robot and alt. modes. He also comes with additional parts to help parts of him attach to the Striker Manus mold variants as an armored mode for it.

Articulation: His articulation points definitely meat the more advanced standard of articulation that the Cross Dimension line from MakeToys has set but due to the sheer size of his body and limbs he can’t pull the more intense poses off as dynamically as some of the more slim characters released.

Overall Score: 7.5/10 – I think that Buster Stealthwing fills a nice gap in the Cross Dimension line of adding a new character while also giving Striker Manus the option of some really cool armor.

MakeToys is showing commitment to keeping the cross-dimension line going with their latest release, Thunder Manus. This iteration of the “Powermaster” version of Optimus Prime (“Ginrai” in the Masterforce series) brings that large, intimidating aesthetic of the character along with the extreme articulation that the cross-dimension series has become known for.

Presentation: The box for Thunder Manus is frankly awesome. The pictures on both the front and back along with the graphics and text layout are extremely well done and the wide, rectangular shape really gives it a panoramic feel. The figure itself is well packaged in the plastic clamshell and it’s nice that it’s packaged as the robot mode of the “base” power master mode as I feel that it’s the mode that people will be looking to go to first.

Build: Thunder Manus is made of good plastics with really strong, friction-based joints. It moves and plays very, very well. The problem lies in the q.c.. On mine, there are pieces connected to his side skirts that don’t well at all and continuously fall off and reports from other owners vary anywhere from that same issue to even scuff marks throughout the item. This kind of stuff isn’t acceptable.

Accessories: There really isn’t much to this piece in terms of accessories. Thunder Manus comes with two blasters as well as the two vintage shoulder canons that Powermaster Prime has always had, and that’s it (the guns are big and awesome, so it’s not a slight in the least.) This biggest thing that it comes with and I don’t really consider it an accessory is the “Divine Armor” which is basically an homage to the Transformers Masterforce “GodBomber” robot which turns from a robot into a trailer and can be disassembled as armor for Powermaster Optimus/Ginrai but this has no robot mode; only a trailer and armor options (A separate, full-on Godbomber in the Cross-Dimensions line will be released at a later date.) Of course the Divine Armor becomes really swank-looking armor for Thunder Manus but it also comes with a huge shoulder canon with a really cool sword that detatches from it. once you get him armored up, it’s a sight to see with adding about a half inch of height as well as some nice “bling” to Thunder Manus.

Articulation: The articulation on Thunder Manus itself is insane. Just like Thunder Erebus released beforehand, there isn’t much that this piece just can’t do, and it’s so FUN to play with. The problems come in when the “Divine Armor” is added on to where it loses a lot of that articulation, particularly in the legs. It’s really unfortunate because it looks SO great with the armor attached but I actually prefer it off to remain playable.

Overall Score: 7.0/10 – Honestly as a toy, Thunder Manus itself is phenomenal, but loses a lot of mobility/playabilty with the Divine armor on which is a real drag as it’s a crucial part of the packaging and there’s no option to get Manus without it. Thunder Manus itself is an easy 9.0-10/10 but personally the divine armor and the thought of an added cost from it really drag it down as a whole. The lack of consistent quality on this piece across the board really isn’t a norm. for MakeToys either. Here’s hoping that issues like those don’t continue down the line.

Maketoys has definitely upped their already high standard with the latest release in their “Cross Dimension” toyline in MTCD-03SP Thunder Eberus. This homage to the “Nucleon Quest” variant of Power Master Prime not only has the looks, but the playability that really puts this over as one of the best 3rd-Party Transformers figures ever made in my opinion.

The packaging is pretty nice with artwork and a layout similar to the previously released Striker Noir. Upon opening it, it’s really hard not to be impressed with the sheer size of it. At almost 9″ tall, it remains a Classics-scaled piece but definitely has an imposing feel in comparison to other products of the same scale. It’s big, it’s bad, and the Dark color scheme accented with the Nucleon-styled light blues and reds are just mean! It’s a very, very pretty piece while still carrying that semi-manga stylization that has become a penchant for MakeToys Products.

The build quality is good. outside of the knee cap having to be pressed farther down, I didn’t have any assembly errors or q.c. issues. The smaller, Ginrai-styled Power Master piece isn’t much to talk about as it’s got very limited articulation being so small and its real value (to me, personally) is in the “Power Master” transformation and attachment to the grill portion of Eberus. Eberus itself is very nice and the reds on its chest especially just pop. The build on it is good and the articulation is great; in fact, it’s an ab crunch away from being perfect in that area. The only niggle that I have is that I wish the neck was longer for appearances-sake as its chin touches his chest looking straight forward and it just plain looks like it has no neck. Overall its a nice piece but not nice to the point where I’d buy a second to display Eberus on its own.

Thunder Eberus itself is just a thing of beauty. From its size to its visual presence, it’s a standout piece on a shelf and I can just imagine that the eventual Thunder Manus release will be even moreseo. I’ve already hit on the size, colors, and presence, but where Thunder Eberus really gains “wow” factor is its articulation. The thing is so damned articulated that it literally comes off as “extra curricular.” I’m a person that prefers friction joints over ratchets on figures that aren’t very heavy 100% of the time but this piece gets it right in having strong ratchets with small enough gaps in between to not feel like your posing is limited. The hands on this piece are also consistent with the rest of the line making it compatible with things like the weapons pack that came with Striker Noir. The one thing that I think people may have an issue with is the amount of “kibble” on the backside of it to where I’m at least glad they made it functional in terms of weapons storage and the detailing on it is phenomenal. The bottom flap is also movable to keep from hindering rear swing on the legs.

This is one hell of a piece, and I’m looking forward to seeing where this character actually fits into the cross-dimension storyline as even though it’s dark in color, the “nucleon quest” variant of Power Master Optimus Prime was actually a heroic character.

Overall Score: 9.5/10 – MakeToys absolutely nailed it with Thunder Eberus. It takes everything that was great about Striker Manus (and Noir) and basically puts it all on steroids. When I got into collecting I’d never have imagined the day where I’m sitting here looking at a Power Master/Nucleon Quest Optimus toy that has the articulation of something like a Figuarts. The Cross Dimensions toyline seems to do almost no wrong and Thunder Eberus doesn’t do anything but help cement that thought.

MakeToys has released the latest in their Cross-Dimension toyline with Striker Manus which is a straight repaint of the previously reviewed Striker Manus. It also comes with quite a few weapons that work with Noir/Manus as well as Rioter Despotron. Check out the video reviews as well as the gallery below and let me know what you think in the comments.

Overall Score: 9.0/10 – MakeToys knocked it out here. Striker Manus is (in my opinion) one of the best Transformers figures ever made by either first or third party and Striker Noir takes that greatness, gives it a sleek, “Nemesis” deco and adds a ton of weapons that make every figure released in the Cross-Dimension line even more awesome. I feel like the darker scheme of Striker Noir fits this mold even better than Manus because the mold in general seems to fit the more evil, aggressive nature that the Nemesis Convoy character represents. And for the price, at $90 you’re getting a fantastic deal for what all comes in this package. It’s a very strong recommendation from me particularly if you’re still collecting classics-scaled pieces.

MakeToys has released the second in their Cross-Dimension line with “Rioter” Despotron! Not to be confused with the Despotron released in their “Re:Master” series, this is a Classics-scaled Megatron homage featuring an original design. Much like the previously released Striker Manus, Rioter Despotron also features a borderline-insane level of poseability as well as kick-ass accessories like additional blaster options and a more “ninja” styled laser-sword than other homages.

The alt. mode is a nice take on a dual-barreled handgun, but I’m admittedly at the point where I’m fairly tired of seeing toys of Megatron as a gun. It is nice though, as it feels decent in hand and even has a springing triggers. Just don’t expect the “heft” of the Masterpiece-scaled gun alts. when holding it as this is smaller in general and doesn’t feature things like diecast to give it that additional weight.

For me, this does make a very definitive Megatron for my Classics collection, but I can definitely see some wanting something more slavish to the original character model in terms of overall look.

Overall Score: 8.0/10 – Maketoys has done it again. This line is a gold mine with its strong mixture of familiar characters, unique designs, and killer quality has really made this stuff “can’t-miss” right now. Rioter Despotron keeps the wave of hype going and I’m looking forward to whatever this line has in store next.
