Pentre Ifan Cromlech
Pembrokeshire, Wales.
(postcard)
β the trio of Neolithic megaliths got completed by the " Cromlech " !
a cromlech is an interesting structure consisting of several oblong stones placed vertically in the ground, forming one or several concentric circles ... i'm sure that most of you are know the legendary βStonehengeβ , which is located in Great Britain .
Cromlechs were built between 4000 and 3000 BC.
unfortunately , the purpose of this structure is not fully known . however , it is assumed that the stone blocks surround a place that people considered important and built monuments for ... or something ritual
do you ever wondered how people of that time managed to create something like this ? who knows maybe they weren't people ?
