#tbt I crocheted these conjoined deer skulls a few years ago, for a solo exhibition at @paradigmgs. My next show opens at that very location in February 2019! I’m trying out all kind of weird shit with this new body of work. All I want to do is experiment. I’m tired of doing the same thing over and over. It’s not that it isn’t fun or fulfilling, but it doesn’t satisfy my desire to evolve, know what I mean? Anyway, I’ll be posting updates regarding the new stuff pretty soon 🎷👽 . “Morgellons” featuring the biggest boyz I ever did make (they’re almost life-sized). I don’t know what it feels like to have a sibling, but maybe it’s something like this? Maybe? This piece is about how I always wanted a sibling, but will never have one. It’s also about an arcane health condition in which people believed that indestructible, flame-resistant, whisker-like fibers were growing out of their bodies. Maybe I can grow a sibling made of said fibers, if I concentrate hard enough. . This piece, and many other works by absurdly talented people, will be on display at @lastritesgallery as a part of 13th Hour, their annual Halloween show.
