#crescent host

if ava’s demon updates again you bet your bottom dollar that I’ll be posting here again, I just need drive to XD

I have a few things in my drafts that are half-theories mentioning “common knowledge” theories that might be helpful to finally list fully in one or two posts explaining like, the stages of being a host, the things we do/don’t know about heart/crescent host, recapping each character’s fairytale and why it’s important / what it has already revealed, things like that Plus Erios’ fairytale was revealed to be Peter Pan (x) and I’d love to dig into that if we could just get a littttle more information about them / their demon

So like, if people want more content... I definitely have things I could bring up. (Like listing how every host has died and how we know this cus that’s a theory of mine that doesn’t necessarily “explain” things but it just straightens them up a bit and ties in completely with the lore so it might be nice to post that somewhere other than random group chats)

Heyo just your friendly neighbourhood theorist coming back from hiatus with some small notes. (Seriously this is just me speculating on things, some of which is already confirmed. This isn’t a theory, sadly.)

So aside from just.. hexes, y’know, being absolutely everywhere,

From the ceiling, floor, even the glass panel,

To the interior of their grow-pods. But Michelle also included this little easter egg for people who look way too closely at simple backgrounds of panels,

Gil is symbolised by a diamond, a shape which appears (a lot??) on the control panels of his cult’s HQ. Coincidence?

If she is in fact working for/with (?) TiTAN, that plus the honeycomb imagery can bring us back to #0358, which is probably the most referenced panel in all of Ava’s Demon.

Iris Farms produce honey, and since they’re a TiTAN cooperation, they’re probably linked to Crescent host (possibly Veevra.)

And also to add onto the whole ‘honey’ ‘bee’ thing we have going; This guy (far right in the image below) is who I’m speculating to be her Demon, and wouldn’t you have it, they both seem pretty insect-y. 

Hey guys guess who’s finally back after a ~month hiatus with a WILD theory, so strap in, this one’s going to reverse everything you thought you knew about our dear Crescent Host. 

(I have some pretty interesting evidence for this but there are also quite a few holes, so my dm’s and comments are always open for further discussion on my theories. This one is certainly no exception.)

It’s thought to be common knowledge of the AD Theorist Community that Crescent will be a high-ranked follower of TiTAN. No one (that I know of) has been able to decipher what exactly her faded honeycomb pattern means, but I think I might’ve just figured out.  (Or I’m reading way too much into everything, which I do a lot so oh well.)

I’ve been staring at Crescent’s thing for a while trying to come up with a theory to post about it, when a small clue smacked me in the face literally ten minutes ago.

Allow me to present page #2460.

“A ‘Queen’? [...] like a ‘hivemind’ type Queen?”

Now this is just rEaLLy LoOSe SpEcULaTiOn, but ‘hivemind’? Hivemind???

Next, to follow up on Crescent = Scavenger (possibly), many people have already been speculating how Scavengers are very similarly designed to TiTAN. 

And so, I raise you, shoulder pads:

This theory was also spurred on by my original confusion with the TiTAN theories, which was the fact that she has horns. Granted, we’ve yet to see horns like her on any character, follower or not, but with the amount of diversity we were given in the TiTAN schools, it’s definitely note-worthy that none of the high ranked followers retained their unique ‘growths’ or markings. (Or hair colour for that matter, hair in general is made pretty uniform to be straight forward and kept mostly loose. With Crescent’s bizarre and fun hair-do, along with her sharp horns, I just think there has to be a lot more to it if she is to be a follower.)

Bonus stuff / Alternate smaller ideas

(It still pisses me the heck off that they removed my freaking line tool, so please excuse the odd transition.)

There are a heck of a lot of holes in this theory, trust me, I wanted to make sure I acknowledged that in this post. Her chest-plate also has the design of a TiTAN person, since the Scavengers have smoothed torso’s. The scavengers also are “pretty closed minded” too, given that their hair and extra features are nonexistent. I just thought it’d be fun to point out the hive reference, I guess. 

Other theories that this could’ve flushed out include Crescent potentially being a rebel? We’ve heard that people can and do salvage and repurpose scavenger materials, and with a guy like TiTAN in existence it’d make sense to have rebels, so she could definitely be a part of that. And it could explain the chest-plate, since it’s plausible that if they’re getting scavenger materials they’re also getting TiTAN’s. 

She’s definitely not the egg, nor is any character we’ll see before the timeskip, due to her horns being thin and up-angled unlike vengess horns. She still has to hold some kind of unique connection to Wrathia and the heart host. 

I’ve seen a lot of theories around about where the cinderella parallel will come in and I do think that it’ll be Veevra’s, though I’m not sure how Six will play into it. They have their own thing with TiTAN going on, which we’ll hopefully see developed more this chapter, so I don’t know how much they’d contribute to the parallel. Then again, Six, having a crush on TiTAN, could potentially be paralleling wanting the prince’s attention and working for it while someone else is getting all the praise and attention?

This however brings in a whole new array of questions, but I’m going to explore those real quickly because it’s fun so why not. 

Six is definitely not lacking in attention from TiTAN, since they were able to call him and not have to wait very long for a response. They’re also clearly high up, as shown in all of the scenes their in by the way they’re treated by others. In a lot of ways, they’re basically TiTAN’s favourite lap dog. They do what he says, they’re seen as useful in his eyes, but they aren’t ‘loved’, moreso just appreciated. So I’m not sure how exactly the step mother role would play in.

Veevra’s “prince” could also end up being someone else though, and the idea that she’ll end up with AngelicPurr has been thrown around in a lot of my recent conversations with other theorists. Six might still be involved if that’s the case, though there’s a lot of different character combinations we could find evidence for in this trio. Sadly, we really barely know anything solid about Veevra aside from my theory rants about her (which I’m sure are right because why else would all of that symbolism be there i-)
