I had such a weird interaction today in Inkopolis?
This… blue ring octoling. I bumped into her, and she was clearly also fresh from Octopia. She actually sounded like she was from the capital, which is closer to the surface. Anyway, she.. called me a name I didn’t think anyone out here knew. She also proceeded to say nobody else knew, and that she will let me continue my buisness.

Wish I knew more about sanitization. All I know is back at home in Octopia the deepsea metro is forbidden unless you have a large group with at least two combat specialists. It’s creepy to think about just how many were lost over the years.

Yeah well, I bet you don’t know the full potential of the octobrush. I like your spirit though, inkling. You seem feisty but I know some pretty spicy tricks with this. Let’s just say I learn from the best

I will say… the zipcaster on the main octobrush is nice. Still getting the hang of it though. Trying to improve my drop rolls.
I decided to try a few grizzco shifts today and I can’t help but think about the conditions even the beginners have to work in. How is this even allowed? If that’s what the start is like, how on earth is it legal for the more advanced people to work like that?
Also… golden eggs? Maybe they are more powerful, but the salmonids apparently were super protective of those in trading which is why Octopia just used the power eggs.
I get why there’s a backup system for the zapfish. After all, having only one energy source is risky no matter how good it is.
I will say those fish are scary. Though, apparently they are really friendly it’s just. Their complete lack of self preservation is unsettling for someone not use to seeing it.
I went ahead and donated what I earned to some research group studying the substance that makes Octarians go fuzzy.
