idk when a non-human living amongst humans is described as somehow offputting and creepy by the humans that's when i feast and eat. vash has strange qualities to him physically, but some are so subtle you probably won't notice if you just glance quickly. but if you look a few times, you may notice how his eyes glow in the dark, how his fingers and limbs are just a bit too elongated to look natural, how he sometimes sheds long white feathers from invisible wings or sprouts small feathers from the back of his neck or arms, and how he can bend himself into weird positions when sleeping or chilling. just. slightly uncanny.
