A Gentle Update & Support for a Sims Creator 🤍
Hi my sweet Cozylings 🤍🍂 I wanted to share a gentle update about something that’s been happening in the Sims community, especially for anyone who may be confused or concerned like I was.
Recently, Kristina (@KristinaPlaysTheSims) shared that several of her YouTube videos were removed after EA issued copyright removal requests. As a result, she received two copyright strikes on her channel which is incredibly serious, as one more could lead to her channel being terminated. Because of this, videos and links many people relied on were taken down, not by choice, but out of necessity and protection.
Kristina was very clear and transparent in her message: she did not intentionally delete her content, and she deeply apologized for the inconvenience. Most importantly, she reassured everyone that this situation is temporary, and that she’s working on bigger and better things behind the scenes.
I just want to say this with kindness and clarity situations like this are stressful, scary, and completely out of a creator’s control. Protecting yourself and your platform always has to come first. If you’re feeling disappointed, confused, or overwhelmed, your feelings are valid but so is offering patience and grace.
Sending Kristina nothing but support, safety, and gratitude for everything she’s shared with the community. Please remember to be kind, respectful, and understanding during moments like these 🤍🍂
We’re all just trying to create, enjoy, and find comfort in the things we love.
