Dohkwibuhch is the creator deity of the Snohomish people from Puget Sound, Washington. He is known to have spread the people from east to west, giving each group a different language, a big mistake. When creating the world, he also made the mistake of making the sky too low, causing the Snohomish people to frequently hit their heads on the sky or climb to the sky world. 

A group of wise men decided that if every creature on Earth helped lift the sky, it could be moved. They called  "Yah-hoh", which meant the same, "lift together”, in every language and were successful in correcting Dohkwibuhch ‘s mistake.
