Modern depictions of various creatures from religion, folklore, mythology, and fiction of all types has resulted in incredible designs and popular concepts that while often taking liberties, are much beloved and used by many. To that end, I’ve only seen a handful exploring Deep Ones from Lovecraftian fiction. It would be so easy to explore different combinations of fish and amphibian hybrids, as well as concepts like deep sea gigantism and dwarfism (Heard rumors a rare few can get massive, so depending on legitimacy it may not be too far fetched). There’s potential, it seems worth exploring
