Brielle isn't sure how Craig is going to take the news. She waits until her second trimester to break it to him. As upset as the news might make him, she's not sure his child brain would be able to comprehend it if she told him about the pregnancy and then lost it.
She approaches him while he's sitting at a desk, doing his homework like the good boy he is.
She makes sure to tell Craig that this new sibling will be treated just the same as Craig is, and that her and Luciano having a baby together does not in any way mean that she nor Luciano love him any less. To her surprise, Craig doesn't have much of a reaction. He just blinks, shrugs, and then goes back to his homework.
Craig spends the next few days thinking about this news. To be honest, he isn't quite sure how he feels. What if his mom loves this new baby more? What if she forgets all about him? But eventually he decides he’s excited about it. His mom has never given him any reason to think she could ever love him any less, and with a younger sibling, he’ll have someone to play with! He draws a picture of what the new family will look like together and presents it to his mom.
