So, my whole entire basis of this is because of ONE promotional movie poster the official mononoke instagram posted:

The first thing I noticed is "wow, Kun is looking beat up! That means this mononoke is way strong" which is to be expected, we know kusuriuri (the organization, to be clear) can be beat up if the mononoke they face is more powerful than them, AS EVIDENT by BOTH BAKENEKO ARCS in Ayakashi Horror Tales AND Mononoke the Series. OKAY.

SECOND THING: what I believe to be Kun's mirror.......has the fucking whole 8 TRIGRAMS ON IT and a mystery 9th (this will be embarrassing if i cant count).

We KNOW. That the TRIGRAMS. Are IMPORTANT. And that is because they are DIRECTLY TIED TO THE KUSURIURI AS AN ORGANIZATION AND EACH ONE HAS A RELATIVE SWORD AND TITLE. We only know TWO of the 8 sword wielders and presumably none???? Of the 64 guardians??

Now i should explain: the Trigrams are a Taoist methodology of explaining the interplays of nature and reality. Each trigram represents an element and has an individual amount of yin/yang interplay illustrated by the broken/unbroken lines that compose them. Also, they can be combined to create Hexagrams, of which there are 64.

The two we know are Kun, the element of Earth, and Li, the element of Fire. "WHO's LI" I hear you asking. WELL, my friend, LI is the ORIGINAL KUSURIURI WE MET IN AYAKASHI HORROR TALES AND THE PROTAGONIST OF MONONOKE (2007) SERIES!!!!

Now that thats explained, another thing to notice on the supposed mirror: it is NOT pointing to Kun's Trigram, and there is this little blue dot to even emphasize this!

Here is an image i edited, and felt like a conspiracy theorist, accompanied by identification of our kusuriuri and their shingi.

So, as you can see, its pointing to Li's trigram, who you'll remember is the ORIGINAL ONE WE MET. Therefore I have concluded this mirror functions as some kind of mystical phone line where all the kusuriuri and possibly the 64 guardians can call upon each other for assistance when need be. At first, I felt stupid thinking this: "they wouldn't do this, its such a deus ex machina, right??? RIGHT?????!??"

THEN THE INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT POSTED THIS

THESE MY DEAR VIEWER ARE RECONNAISSANCE BUGS USED BY THE KUSURIURI TO CHECK ON EACHOTHER WHEN THEY ARE NOT PHYSICALLY PRESENT. AND OH WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT LITTLE BLUE DOT AGAIN ON THE MIRROR AND TELL ME IM NOT FUCKING INSANE ???!!????? THATS LI'S GODDAMN LADYBUG ON THERE RIGHT HES COMING AND AHHAAOIIAHH
