I absolutely understand the gripe people have with characters in fiction talking like they're in a therapy session because That's Not How People Talk To Each Other but Steve Tholomule is the one character that gets a free pass on that. My guy is getting such a good grade in therapy (normal to want, possible to achieve) and he is force-feeding his friends with healthy coping mechanisms and emotional vulnerability whether they like it or not
