Never expected to post a picture where you can actually see my face on this blog, but here we are. I thrifted a few new pieces for my closet (and a cute mug) that are very dark academia and they give me this weird confidence that I hardly ever get outside of my horse show clothes. I’m kinda digging it though, if its not too hot tomorrow I may wear this outfit to campus and just look really pretentious all day.
The last few days have been productive, I:
wrote stage 3 of my sociology research paper
finished my formal lab report for lab 2 (no more yeast, finally!)
Completed cell transport practice problems for Bio
Created a rough draft poster for my research project
started chipping away at this unit of precalculus
Today was productive in a different way, I:
attended my Monday classes
got my truck’s oil changed (I think the service guy was flirting with me?)
worked at the barn for a little while taking care of a horse who’s owner doesn't feel well
had an advising session with my honors counselors that was really enlightening for me. I’ll elaborate shortly.
did a ton of laundry
worked on my bio research paper and started bullshitting my way through that whole thing
took the last set of sociology notes, now to handwrite them in my notebook
refined my research abstract for sociology
tidied my bedroom
To be honest, even though I’m behind in some classes and overall just really busy, I feel pretty good. I’m going to hang out with my longtime friend that I haven’t seen in a long while this week, and we’re going to marathon the new Greek Mythology show on Netflix so I’m hyped for that. And school is looking up. I met with my class advisors today and we talked about what classes I plan on taking next semester. I was surprised when they actually encouraged me to branch out and explore some more humanities and liberal arts related classes, especially since I’m having some doubts about the whole veterinarian thing. I’m looking forward to expanding my horizons and figuring out what I’m most passionate about, and honestly I think if I major in some kind of biology field and am able to minor in something like classical societies or literature or history, I would be immensely happy. I enjoy science, and I would love to pursue a career in it if possible, but I know that I don’t want it to be my sole focus in my schooling. I think the expansion of my horizons is going to be really helpful, I've decided to take some mini-mesters soon to look into humanities and the like. I’m excited for the future now, especially knowing that my advisors are really open to helping me achieve my goal of attending Cornell or UChicago.

Okay so I don't post originals that regularly and when I do I get little to no response, so you may be wondering why I am posting this given. But this is important to me and my group. Okay so here it goes, in my A2 (a level you do when you are 17-18 in your last year of school/collage before you go onto university) anyway so we have to create a music video and create our blog of our journey.
