Q: Who are some of your favorite female authors?? Happy International Women’s Day, Bookworms! (And Tuesday as well. 😊) Do you have any favorite female authors? I HAVE SO MANY! More than I could ever picture here, but I tried to get in as many as I could … then I ended up doing as many as I could by genre … and as you can see, my stack of books got out of hand. 🤣 Above are a few of my favorite authors from some of my favorite genres, fantasy, contemporary, romance and mystery/thrillers! Would you rather … be a witch or a vampire?? (Or, read about witches or vampires?) . Happy Tuesday, Bookworms! If you had the choice, would you rather be a witch or a vampire? What books did you love?? 🤓 I did not read as many books on my summer tbr as I had hoped to, but I did read a lot of really awesome books! It was hard to narrow it down to just a few, (as you can see from this massive stack above), and there were even more that could have been added to my list. I enjoyed all of the books above so much … from my new reads to my re-reads, they were all so great. 🥰 I’m finishing up my last summer read today, and tomorrow I’ll be starting my awesome Fall TBR. ℚ𝕆𝕋𝔻: What was your favorite read this month? ⁣ ⁣ I read a bunch of great books this month and it’s hard to choose a favorite, but I have to go with the one that surprised me most . . . King of Scars! ⁣ ⁣ As you guys know, I’ve been doing a GrishaVerse reread this summer by listening to the audiobooks. I had read King of Scars a while back when it came out and it was just meh for me. I loved being back with these amazing characters, but the pacing wasn’t right. And while I loved Nina’s POV, it felt like it should have been its own separate book or novella. ⁣ HOWEVER, the audiobook has totally changed my mind. I don’t know why, but King of Scars just works way better in audio format. I loved it so much!! ⁣ ⁣ I’m listening to Rule of Wolves now and I’m loving it. It’s my first time reading this one and it’s so intense! Q: How was your reading month for August?? What books did you read this month?? . It’s the last day of August, Bookworms! Did you have a good reading month?? 🤓 I had an ok month … It did not go quite as I planned. I did read quite a few good reads though … *Six Crimson Cranes* was fantastic, and I loved my re-read of *The Heart of Betrayal* … I also found a new genre to love with *Bombshell*! All of these books were great! 🥰 Also, not pictured is *Malibu Rising*… I read it as well, but my copy hasn’t arrived. I’m also trying to squeeze in one more book today with *If the Shoe Fits*, but I am enjoying it so much, so I should finish it today as well. 🥰 How about you guys? How was your month?? . I, once again, added more than I expected to my collection, but I am SO excited to have all of these awesome books! 🥰 After reading *Six Crimson Cranes*, I absolutely HAD to have the UK version as well.
