What i love about the whole Alastor Vs Lucifer showboating and then the Vox Vs Lucifer, is that
Alastor, or anyone really, didnt know that Lucifer couldn't use his power over/on the sinners. Man was straight up challenging and continously rage baiting the King of Hell for the love of the motherfuckin game. A man who, to his perception at that point in time, actually could end his existence and he went "im picking a fight with you" almost as soon as he walked through the door.
Vox on the other hand. If that man didnt have the heads up that Lucifer was no real threat to him, would have shit his pants when Lucifer rolled up. Vox would not have had the spine to stand his ground had he not known. He would have zipped off that stage if not backpedalled or tried to find a way to worm out of the situation. The only reason why Vox was confident is because he knew Lu couldn't hurt him. If he didnt, theres no way he would have been caught baiting Lucifer into any argument or fight.
Im just thinking of the differences between the dynamics and interactions of Lucifer and Alastor or Vox
And Alastor looking for any excuse to drag Lu into a fight of some sort just to do it, regardless of his status and their presumed power differences, even after Alastor got his ass handed to him by Adam, who got beat by Lucifer, and while he was still heavily injured at that.
Alastor, actively dying slowly and sees the person who beat the shit out of the person that beat the shit out of him despite him being the strongest sinner in hell: time to provoke him again.
