If you have anger problems or get frustrated easily etc etc, you’ve got lucky. He’s very patient and is willing to find a way to bring you back down to earth

He’s enamored with you. Almost obsessively so. No matter what you do, he’s just absolutely smitten

luckily for both of you, you were now wide awake. the shock and the adrenalin made it possible for you to think straight, quickly rushing to check luka's body. pulse was steady. no obvious broken bones or injuries. except for a cut on his chest, only visible if you flipped him over. a bit of blood, but he probably didn't pass out from that. the exhaustion must've been it, coupled with luka likely running out of adrenaline.

“you're lucky this is the balcony you crashed on, you know~?” you huffed softly, trying to joke, even if there was nobody to hear it. maybe it was to ease your own nerves, as you pulled luka inside, heaving him onto your bed.

“he is lucky…”

you flinched, as you suddenly did hear a voice. a small snake-like creature flew towards you and you quickly recognized it as luka's kwami, even if you had never seen it before. but you knew what a kwami looked like. you had one of your own, after all…

“y-you scared me…!” you chuckled a bit, as you looked at the creature. “you must be his kwami…”

“sass.” the little creature introduced itself. “and if you don't mind, i'd like to help you with luka. he's in this state because of me, after all…”

you inched to the side and smiled at sass.

“feel free to lend me a hand– or… paw? tail?”

luka didn't wake up again until the next morning. by that time, juleka had already sent worried messages in the group chat, asking if anyone knew where he was. and you had to lie and explain that he was crashing at your place, because his bike broke down.

you were sleeping on the couch near your bed, when luka suddenly jolted awake, quickly regretting the quick movement, as he held his head in pain.

“where…?” dazed by pain, luka turned to the side, looking around, as he quickly spotted you. and a quiet “oh…” left his lips, as he simply stared at you.

“good morning…!” you sat up straight, a quiet yawn escaping your lips, as you turned to luka. “how do you feel?”

“confused.” was all that he said, making you laugh a little. but luka didn't feel like laughing. “what happened? when did i…?”

“detransform?” you finished his sentence and luka sighed.

“so you know.”

“that you're viperion? yeah, i do. met your kwami as well, sass.”

“where is–”

“he's in the kitchen. i let him have anything from the fridge that he wants. not sure what you usually feed him.”

luka sat in silence for a moment, letting everything sink in. he never meant to tell anyone about his identity. not if he could avoid it, at least. and now he had dragged you into this mess. his mess!

“please, don't tell anyone about this.” luka's gaze found yours again, as he looked at you with pleading eyes. “not that i'm viperion, nor that i crashed into your place. it would be best… if you just forgot this ever happened.”

“oh, is this a bad timing to mention that i kinda told juleka and the girls…?”

“you did WHAT!?” luka's eyes widened in shock, while you burst into laughter.

“sorry, that was a little joke~” you grinned amused. “just wanted to see if i could say something that would get that deadly serious look off your face.”

“huh…” luka huffed amused. “didn't know you were funny…”

“didn't know that you were viperion. until now~” you hummed back.

the two of you sat in silence for a moment, simply staring at each other, with smiles lingering on both of your faces. then, luka sat up straight at the edge of the bed, still holding eye contact.

“is there a way i can make this up to you, perhaps? i made you worry about me and take care of me all night and now i'm forcing you to keep such a big secret…” luka sighed softly.

“mmhh…” you thought about it for a moment, before a little smile snuck onto your lips. “perhaps you could promise me something: if i'm ever in danger, i want you to come and save me. you, viperion – either of you. just keep an eye out for me and we're good.”

“that's it?” it seemed like too little for all the trouble that luka caused you.

“maybe take me out for ice cream on top of it and then we're even” you suggest with a smile.

“like… a date?” luka tilted his head to the side, as a smile snuck onto his lips.

“i– uh…” now you were the one who got caught off guard. luka chuckled, as your cheeks turned the slightest bit of red.

“let's just make it a hangout between friends!” luka said, to ease your nerves. “and if you do find that you enjoy my company – when i'm conscious, this time – then maybe the next one can be a date… what do you say~?

you smiled softly and nodded.

“sounds perfect.”

You couldn't remember how you got into this position. Actually, you could. 

Luka, your incredibly sweet boyfriend, had invited you to his boat house during the weekend for much needed rest and relaxation. He'd seen the way school had been weighing down on your recently and wanted you to gain back some energy.

This was obviously achieved by the heavy amounts of hugs and kisses he granted you. So now you lay in your pajamas on his bed as he sat by the foot of the bed, playing his guitar. You watched in curiosity as his fingers swiftly ran over each string, the sound humming out gently into the room.

Suddenly, you got up, an idea quickly forming into your head. Getting off the bed, you knelt beside the boy, eyes boring into the side of his head waiting for him to take notice. 

The boy simply chuckled before turning to face you, an adoring look in his eyes. "Yes melody?"

You felt your face heat up slightly at the sweet pet name but remained focused. "Teach me how to play guitar." You didn't ask him, you demanded it. 

He immediately shook his head in disagreement and honestly you couldn't blame him. "Remember what happened last time I attempted to teach you how to play?" He was right, you seemed to have bad luck when trying to learn new things. A few months back, he had tried to teach you how to play guitar only to end up with 2 broken strings. 

You had obviously forgotten this incident seeing as you were where you are now. A small pout formed on your lips as you flopped onto his lap, he moved his guitar out of the way just in time. "Pretty please??? I'll pay so much attention this time I pinkie promise," you batted your eyes at him. Attempting to persuade him. Little did you know he didn't need much persuasion. He knew he would comply the second you had asked.

This was how you found yourself in this position. You sat between his legs, his guitar in front of you and his arms wrapped around you. At first it was quite easy, both you and Luka being shocked at how quick you were understanding the instrument. That was before you noticed just how close in proximity you both were.

You suddenly remembered why it was so difficult for you to successfully play last time. You knew Luka was a good looking guy, you could see it from a mile away. So being so incredibly close to his face? Feeling his breath on your neck? The way his arms subtly flexed around you as he guided your fingers to the right string? 

Your brain became fuzzy. What were you doing again? And with that, the first string snapped. The room was silent with both you and Luka looking at the instrument in shock. Before he could even utter a word, you groaned in annoyance, falling back on him. "I tried I promise," you looked up at him from where you lay on his chest.

"Really?" he hummed out, smirking at you. You rolled your eyes, quickly sitting up and moving out of his grasp. As you put the now semi-broken instrument on his guitar stand, you began to explain.

"It's not my fault my boyfriend is so pretty," you began to ramble. Turning to face him, you were met with a lazy grin as he sat leaning back, eyes never leaving your frame. "See! You're doing it right now," your voice turned frustrated. How was this fair?
