Okay, so I am seeing a lot of people asking about the capabilities of the Ford engine for next year. Because I am old and I am my grandfathers grandchild, I have a good technical knowledge of the previous regs and engine suppliers.
Ford-Cosworth DTF engines were good engines. They were the engines that powered most of the champions during their tenure in the sport. McLaren, Williams, Lotus, they all ran the engines and saw success with them, so I don't think we need to worry about the pedigree of the engine we're going to see in 2026.
I have faith in Ford, and in Red Bull to make a huge go of the engine next year. And of course, I have faith in Max.
Cars were smaller, tires wider but the race is always the same.
