We certainly hope all of our fantastic @superheroalliancewny volunteers are recovering well after @buffalobisons Superhero Night this past Saturday! Gathering all together in the early morning for final rehearsal. We then stand for about 6 hours on concrete for the meet and greets in 80° weather wearing hot and bulky Super Suits. Then we run out to the field to perform a live 15 minute skit with impressive stunts with some of us landing on the field some even in the hard dirt multiple times. All for charity, unpaid, out of the goodness of our hearts. We wear a smile on our face all day through aching feet and muscles to give our guests the ultimate fan experience. We are always overjoyed to see people of all ages react to seeing their favorite Superhero or Villian. We Love our WNY community! And we will continue to give back from the goodness in our hearts. The @superheroalliancewny was asked if we could send some last minute Superheroes to attend a Surprise Birthday Party for this little boy and his family given by Engine 33 Fire Department after they lost all of their belongings to a house fire just hours before his 6th birthday party. With only one day's notice we were able to provide 3 volunteers to attend, Supergirl, Shazam and the birthday boy's favorite Superhero of all time Batman!!! His smile says it all!
