unfortunately after some considerations I've decided to push my Stella from Spiritfarer cosplay to a con I have in April due to not wanting to give up on details.
my con is in a week and I wouldn't have made it on time and be satisfied with the end result if I were to try an make it on time to the 8th of October.
so instead I'm going as Susie from Deltarune for the first day, and ofc, Frenkie from Knights Of Guinevere on the second day of the con!
and I'll keep working on Stella throughout the year so to make it on time to the other con I have!
TKB Cosplay Update! - Neck Chain!
A post by @ravij It's been a bit since I've made any progress on this cosplay but now that Gremlin is a bit older and more settled in I decided to start tackling things. ◉‿◉ While the rest of Amurica was celebrating I was busy toiling away on TKB's neck chain that iirc was given to him by fans through fanart. I think he had one in the Manga? But I do not remember one in the Anime. Ya'll remember this post from end of May in which I tested sequences. Well I decided to go with the red discs. I started with setting up and measuring about 45 in (1.14 meters) length of cord. The idea is for a 37-38 in (0.93-.096 meters) chain but I'd need the extra length to tie it off. I clipped it off with a cloth clip so beads wouldn't go everywhere because I need both ends not knotted in order to tie it off.
The rest below the cut! 〜(꒪꒳꒪)〜

Thank you so so much to everyone who liked my cosplay post!! I really appreciate all the nice messages in the tags :)
It was a challenge to to make and I’m really proud of it so I thought I’d make a post going into the details of how I made it (also so that anyone who wants to make their own impulse cosplay has some inspiration!)
So the main suit is a pattern I got from spotlight (Aussie craft store). I made the entire suit from the white fabric, then used the pattern pieces to make my own patterns for the red parts and sewed those over the top.
For the mask, I bought motor cycle goggles with yellow lenses on Amazon and used them as a base. The chinstrap is eva foam covered in red fabric and hot glued together. I added a piece of elastic and then sewed it to the goggles. This allowed me to wear the goggles on my head (they fogged up QUICK) while keeping the chinstrap in place
I traced the goggles shape onto eva foam and cut out the mask shape, which I - you guessed it - covered in fabric. I designed and modelled the earpieces and my friend printed them for me, I just sanded and painted them then glued them onto the mask. It’s held on by hooks and eyes that I had left over from making the suit.
The gloves are just some cheap ones that I cut the fingers off. I made the wrist and ankle straps out of eva foam and covered them in fabric, then glued them to a backing piece of foam with Velcro (I wanted to add the buckles but I didn’t have time)
^Smaller one is the wrist, larger one is the ankle
And for shoes, I made these shoe covers for my work boots (they make my feet look huge - good for comic accuracy). I just draped the fabric over my shoes and pinned and cut and sewed until it looked okay. I added elastic on the bottom and Velcro around the back to hold them on.
And my hair just looks like that.
So that’s it! Thank you again for all the love on the last post. This took so much work so it’s nice to know it’s appreciated :)
Progress on my Vergil cosplay #2
Here I am with a new update post about my Vergil cosplay! It's my first cosplay ever and I'm trying to build most of it from scratch, so it's been a lot of work, sometimes frustrating but sometimes very rewarding. Let's see what I managed to make in the past two weeks.
