It's been so amazing to be on the space side of tumblr during the Artemis II mission... The genuine joy on my dash, the love and awe and excitement that transcends nationality, and especially all the fond recollections of the first Apollo program...
Tumblr turned into a very dark place for me post-Oct. 7th, 2023, which is why I ended up taking a break for the greater part of a year and a half. I'm really just, so glad to discover joy again on this site and share in the celebration and love for Artemis II and human space exploration as a whole.
On April 12th, two days after the projected splashdown, we will celebrate the 65th anniversary of the first human spaceflight, the day humanity became spacefarers... The timing is so perfect.
look how tiny he is!!!! they barely had to Throw himb..

I love him terribly. However I would throttle him in a game of pool so hard he'd start crying
"We are friends and creators. And in space we affirm peace!"
