"You... you are leaving?" The Etruscan king Corythus asked with his newborn son in his arms.
The babe had survived eleven days in the warm embrace of his parents, along with his twin brother who was in his wife's arms.
"This child of mine is born of two Gods. I wish to raise him in Samothrake as I am closer to my sisters." The star nymph Elektra whispered as her attention focused on the child she held.
She looked up at the king she has for a husband. He has been alive for forty years now. His age clear on his face and hands. His arms curled around his son, born from him and her.
"You could raise him here." The king suggested by taking a step forward, "Him and his brother should not grown apart, my dear. They may yearn to see one another often."
Elektra stayed silent for a moment; her eyes drawn downwards to her children.
"I don't plan to separate the two."
The king retreated back with two slow steps.
"Do you mean to..."
"Yes." The nymph answered, "I do intend to take both with me."
Corythus' shoulders squared up, holding his son closer to his chest. The precious boy in his arms stared up at his father with wide eyes. A gentleness that matched the old king who ran his thumb over the child's cheek and nearly sobbed.
"You wish to rob me of fatherhood?" He did sob and his wife gasped.
Elektra hastily neared her husband, reaching out her hand, "My dear Corythus, I would never—"
"Oh, but you do!" He caught her wrist in his grip, "Gone with the wind, you and now the children! Gone just like my youth as my wisdom grows!"
His body shook in anger. Anger he thought would never reach him. Not after it overflowed out of him upon learning the truth of his wife's pregnancy.
Tears fell from his eyes as exhaustion made his shoulders slack. His hand moved from Elektra's wrist to her palm, wrapping his wrinkled fingers around her smooth skin and pulling it in to rest over his chest. Corythus closed his eyes while wishing for time to stop.
"I do not plan to harbor our son in my home forever." His wife whispered in soothing vocals, "Your kingdom will not be robbed of an heir to its throne."
"The throne is not what concerns me most, lovely Elektra. The words he will first speak, his growth in mobility and height, his simple joy and laughter—that is what you take from me in his early years."
Elektra sighed as she observed the children in their arms. Dardanus was who she held and Iasion rested in the king's arms. One asleep, one awake. One with darker hair like hers and one with bright curls like his.
Born of the same mother, but one son with a God for a father and the other a mortal man.
Precious to the nymph all the same.
"Forgive me." She raised her hand from his chest to his face, "Forgive me for the sadness—" Her brows furrowed, "The anger—I have caused in you. I have never met a man anywhere near as patient as you."
"I am getting old." Corythus' voice trembled slightly as he spoke into her palm.
She winced, "I know. I know, dear Corythus." Elektra rested her head against his.
A shaky exhale left the king's lips as he whispered, "Stay."
"Corythus..." Elektra squeezed her eyes shut as it pained her to hear those words.
"Please stay."
Exhaustion weighed down on both of them. Old words respoken hundreds of times with the outcome unchanged.
The star nymph took a breath before opening her eyes and meeting his wearisome gaze.
"When our son is half the age of maturity... I will return him. I will not hide him from you, nor you from him. I promise you." Her gentle eyes begging for his understanding.
His eyes shied away, plagued with thoughts, "I see."
The king felt so distant, despite being right in front of his star.

You know why Paris starting the whole war was even more pointless? HE HAD A WIFE. Oenone, and even a son named Corythus. He literally abandoned them for the selfish feeling of having something better.
Plus, his son died by his own hand! Corythus went to Troy after many years and met Helen sooo Paris killed him out of jealousy. But since we're all "boo" him I'll tell you his first wife was a healing nymph. And guess who he went to when Paris got bad wounded in the war? Luckily Oenone didn't play that crap and refused to help Paris.
Btw, Paris died because he got shot in the d*ck. Deservedly.
Preparing for an arrival two years after the fall of Troy. This au allows many of the children to live and turns Helenus into very stressed, very tired childcare. (Only two years after the war means pyrrhus' children aren't there yet and Astyanax has not yet returned to them)
Left to Right

Brunomus, Corythus, Idaeus = Paris and Helen
Laodamas = Andromache and Hector

Greek Anthology 2.1c: Oenone was boiling over with anger — boiling, eating out her heart with bitter jealousy. She was furtively watching Paris with her wild eyes and conveyed to him secret threats, spurning her ill-fated lord with her right hand. The cowherd seemed ashamed, and he was looking the other way, unfortunate lover, for he feared to look on Oenone in tears, his bride of Kebrene.
"conveyed to him secret threats" -> brings to mind this story from Conon...
Conon's Narrations 23: Korythos was born to Alexandros of Paris and Oinone, whom he married before kidnapping Helen. He excelled his father in beauty. His mother sent him to Helen, arousing the jealousy of Alexandros and plotting something bad against Helen.
...so now (since threats is plural) I'm imagining all other kinds of wacky schemes Oenone might've got up to during that decade-long war – each of which Paris keeps narrowly avoiding (think Wiley Coyote and Roadrunner) until one day he just turns up on her doorstep
hey, can you do some dynamic hc’s for a child of Eris (she/her preferred) with their mortal best friend (he/him preferred) being the descendant of Paris, and how their friendship dynamic would work out between each other.
(since Eris was the one who gave the Apple of Discord to Paris to declare who was the fairest goddess between Athena, Hera, and Aphrodite and how it caused the Trojan War etc).
Anon, I just went down the rabbit hole of finding out if Paris had any children, thus any descendants and man- just finding out that he had children with Helen, which one was a daughter…named Helen too. Bruh. Also I have a feeling you're the same anon who requested the child of Eris with being step siblings with a child of Apollo.
For context, I will be referring the descendant of Paris as the Scion of Paris cause its shorter.
I probably didn't give what you want and went too much into Paris, but hopefully you found some of it entertaining. Long text below:
Alright so let's start off starting the background of the Scion of Paris and the general descendants history of Paris first. I like to think they are the descendants of Corythus, son of Paris and Oenone, the first legal wife of Paris who was a naiad-nymph who had precognition ability.
Mostly because I like to think that line of Paris's descendants also inheriting Onenone's precognition ability every so often, and also because Corythus was definitely old enough to have descendants then say, Paris' children he had with Helen and how long the Trojan war started since she was taken by Aphrodite to Paris, they wouldn't be that old enough yet (also I think some, if not all, his children with Helen were killed during that time too).
I can only imagine that any descendants of Paris were warned to stay away from getting involved with anything with the gods, as Paris getting himself involved with Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite, and thus kicking off the Trojan war because Paris chose Aphrodite and thus her bribe of giving the most beautiful woman in the world (aka Helen who was still very much happily married to).
The Scions of Paris are probably victims to those three goddesses of various degress because of Paris, and you can imagine what the goddess of marriage, goddess of wisdom and warfare, and the goddess of love can do to you.
I can also imagine the descendants of Paris all have the tragic flaw where they are extremely swayed or will fall for beautiful woman; can be extended to just general beautiful people and even beautiful things; reflected by Paris (obviously) but also by Corythus who was also enamored with Helen when he first saw here (and was killed because of that by Paris in wrath and jealously).
Not to mention more so, they have the flaw of potential being vain as both Paris and Corythus were described as being more good looking/handsome/beautiful, with the latter moreso then his father, so I can imagine the descendants of Paris and Corythus are exceptionally beautiful/good looking/handsome.
So the men of the family are particularly notable with those characteristics, reflecting Corythus and Paris, (but the women are nothing to scoff at either and some believe there may be some of the Helen's blood that got mixed in along the way.)
I can also see them having another flaw where all the descendants are prone to jealousy, pettiness, acting out on their anger easily, and etc because both Paris and Oenone showed this, and just generally more emotionally weak.
But most importantly, all scions of Paris are taught to hate and be wary of Eris for basically for being responsible that led to the Judgment of Paris and the Trojan war.
Speaking of which, I can only describe the dynamics between the Demigod of Eris and the scion of Paris as nothing but chaotic.
Mostly because the child of Eris will attract or cause discord and strife, whether intentional or unintentionally, hence the chaos, and the scion of Paris being told to not associate with her, and just the general discord it creates among family members that he's friends with a demigod of Eris, whose parent basically caused the Trojan war and scorned their ancestry.
I can just imagine trying their best or setting their foot down because what would others think when they find out one of their children is friends with a child of Eris!? I like to also think there are other descendants of heroes and figures of the Trojan war and because of it, they know each other and frequently gather with the Descendants of Paris being seen not as favorable because their ancestor caused the Trojan war essentially because Paris chose the pretty girl option.
And there's the fact, He, the scion of Paris, is best friends with a daughter of Eris. Boy and Girl misconception, and all the discord it creates within the family because that's just setting up for more trouble.
However, I can imagine their friendship being fed with the daughter of Eris bringing chaos to the scion of Paris' life, showing him that regardless what you do, something will always happen, that there will always be discord and chaos, so you have to learn how to take things in stride and make do with what you have, and that even among discord and strife there can be something positive in it.
Or if anything, it allows him to feel and be free because despite the rigid teachings of the Scions of Paris, it doesn't really matter in the moment of things.
And the daughter of Eris, well, she probably felt the discord and strife churning in the S(ci)on of Paris, and that's what drew her to him in the first place; allowing him to release and no longer bottle the growing discord in his being; thus allowing him to be other than a Scion of Paris.
Basically, I can see the Daughter of Eris having the Punk Rock attitude vibe to the Scion of Paris' life.
