The Hungarian–American photographer, Capa was a member of Magnum Photos, a photo curator, and the younger brother of photo-journalist and war photographer Endre Ernő Friedmann (aka Robert Capa), the founding director of the International Center of Photography. He worked extensively for Life magazine and was known as "The Concerned Photographer," focusing on documentary subjects.
