Shockingly I have managed to (touch wood) get everything back to how it was! I thought it was going to take me a LOT longer.
Crucially I had managed to rescue not only my packages, saves, library, saved Sims etc but also my Cache files which meant that I didnāt lose any of the stuff I had downloaded via the Launcher. I had also saved my DeviceConfig, Graphics Rules and GraphicCards files so I didnāt have to go through the tedium of getting the game to recognise my graphics card or re-do HQ settings.
When I re-installed Sims3 today I also put it in my D drive and this has helped significantly with memory space- which was the problem that caused the Windows update to freeze and why I couldnāt go back to a previous version of Windows. Also, you have to actually turn on and make restore points on Windows 10- it doesnāt do it automatically, which I wasnāt aware of. Despite having a huge amount of memory on the C:drive, it is already more than half full with Windows, programmes and crap that comes along for the ride and which I canāt delete. When I installed Sims in there I ended up with only 12Gb of space which shrank to 7Gb when I ran Sims or downloaded stuff. Utterly ridiculous and I never had this issue with my old laptop which had half the memory. Now I have 32Gb free on my C: Drive which I am hoping will prevent memory crashes in game in the future (fingers crossed). It still takes ages to load and CAS is a nightmare though hahahaahah! Should probably purge some CC ;P
Anyhoo, if you should be as unfortunate as me to end up with the juddering flashy black screen of death when you sign in on your laptop or PC because of a borked update or another reason, the following is a lifesaver! You need an external device to send the files to (I know they arenāt cheap but I have a 1Tb external drive and it has saved me so many times, so I consider it a good investment).

OMG. xD Saffy goes to lay down on the couch where she can hear him. And Roy... OMG. The sparks are gonna fly. Maybe if he makes her angry enough, instead of turning to the bottle, she'll opt for something else. Because she's definitely gonna be angry about this one.
While I was shooting that scene Saffy just autonomously walked across the room and lay down on the couch, and I decided it looked cute and to leave it in! Will she overhear something Roy says and use it to some nefarious purpose? Hmmmmm. I hadnāt planned on it but you never know! :P And yeah, Bunty is going to go nuts, I predict.

I feel like I am crossing a line by thinking about it too heheheheh but I definitely know thereās quite a few out there that share your sentiment ;=) But to me it would feel too wrong to ever be properly enjoyable, even in an AU.

Thatās how narcissists roll, it really helps their victims to know that it isnāt their fault, and thereās nothing unique to them to attract the abuse. Itās not them, thatās just what happens around an abuser.

Saffy is a straight A student and will have no problems getting into the law school of her choice. What I meant was: when ppl ask her why she doesn't have a love interest, she replies that it's bc she is too busy studying. But she is only pretending that is the reason. The truth is.....something else.
