I saw this on ebay fr and thought i'd at least save the images. I could not afford the book, perhaps some other collector can? If it is still up? Anyways, some ponies were in the book.

The promotional pony art is similar to the map found by Grace Ruby, and the many other instances of the hand painted art in G2. The 1999 pony wave included a "Castle theme" It seems, or maybe this was all promotional jargon. The left page is labelled "Garden Theme". The left hand page features an early version of the Magic Rainbow Forest, however much of the details appear to be intact. The page notes the set includes "Coquine", the name of Light Heart in french. The prototype image includes Sundance, which ended up in the final release instead. The bird in the treehouse was replaced with a completely different sculpt and hardware. The rest of the playset is very similar, with notable differences in stickers, mold colors such as the white bridge and seesaw, and minor sculpting changes. The Rainbow arch at the top of the treehouse is Moonshadow's, It makes me curious about what else the pegs could have attached to. I have found the modular fence system in G2 to be somewhat limited in most playsets. Although Sunsparkle is called "Coquine" in the description, she looks unchanged from the final release to me.
