Having more than 17 cats and 9 dogs as personal fur babies is already such a heartwarming blessing 💛 Add to that the hundreds of rescued Puspins and Aspins that we care for before finding them responsible Fur Parents, it’s truly fulfilling to be able to help them 🐱🐶🐾

But we also have to face the reality that sustaining their needs costs thousands. When you're not relying on donations and there aren’t always people who can provide in-kind support like cat and dog food, the responsibility becomes even greater. That’s why we’ve chosen to work harder, so we can continue providing for them with dignity and dedication 🥹

MAMA'S CRADLE ANIMAL SANCTUARY

We wanted to celebrate the 5th founding anniversary of Cats of Quezon Province in a way that would be truly meaningful and unforgettable for us. That’s why we chose to visit Mam Carina Jimenez Suarez of Mama's Cradle Animal Sanctuary because deep in our hearts, we knew this experience would be something truly special.

Every time we watch Mam Carina’s Facebook videos, there's something that stirs in us- like a quiet voice saying, “You need to go. It’s worth it.” After much planning and hoping, our visit to her sanctuary in Cavinti, Laguna finally happened and what a beautiful experience it was.

Words aren't enough to express how honored and grateful we are. Visiting Mama’s Cradle, meeting thise rescue dogs and spending hours talking with Mam Carina, it was truly our pleasure. Her compassion, strength and unwavering dedication to every single life she saves moved us so deeply.

Meeting the rescued dogs, many of whom came from the most heartbreaking circumstances and seeing them now, living their best lives under Mam Carina’s care, was a powerful reminder of the healing that love can bring. We left a piece of our hearts there. This definitely won’t be our last visit 💛

One of the most unforgettable moments we witnessed happened when Mam Carina offered to bring us to the jeepney terminal. As we were on our way, something truly touching unfolded, the dogs came running joyfully toward the vehicle. That simple act spoke volumes. It’s rare for dogs to rush toward a car unless they know and trust who’s inside. It was a quiet but powerful reminder - they know her. They feel safe with her. That moment gave us chills because trust like that, between a dog and a human, is sacred. It’s not taught. It’s not rehearsed. It’s real.

Once again, thank you so much, Mam Carina, for welcoming us into your home and sanctuary with open arms and an open heart. We’re already looking forward to our next visit and of course, more heartwarming life advice and chikahan with you 🐾💬

SAVING LIVES, ONE PAW AT A TIME

Since they were young, Sir Ken and Sir Jeric have always had a deep and genuine love for puspins and aspins.

That love gave birth to Cats of Quezon Province 💛

It was their desire to help innocent and abandoned cats and dogs that laid the foundation of this humble initiative. Even though we are fully aware of our limitations, we continue to do what we can to help, no matter how small.

That’s why it’s painful to hear words like: 💔 Why even bother if you can’t rescue them all? 💔 Why don’t you just rescue and take care of them yourselves? 💔 Ken keeps talking, but can’t even rescue that cat or dog!

YES! we accept that we cannot help every cat or dog. YES! we understand that we can’t rescue them all, as we are limited in resources and manpower.

But despite that, we make this promise: We do everything we can to help as many cats and dogs as possible. Even with limited means. Even when we are criticized or misunderstood. Even when others try to bring us down just to gain attention.

Our mission to help stray puspins and aspins live better, safer lives - will never fade, no matter what challenges or negativity come our way.

Cats of Quezon Province exists because of the sincere love of Sir Ken and Sir Jeric for puspin and aspin. And no matter what happens, they will continue to serve with humility, compassion and dedication helping one paw at a time 💛
