For just $59.95 Vintage 1975 copper pot with solid brass lion handles, hand welded and full of patina, well loved and used for many things. The copper pot has being with me since 1975, at one point it was dented and hubby could of banged it out but I liked the look. I can't remember if I have ever cleaned the pot, 40 years is a long time. I used this pot for plants, a sewing pot, napkins, flowers in a bowl in the summer, a place to put your wallet and keys, letter pot. It was sitting on the kitchen table with napkins but hubby decided one of his wooden tug boats that he makes looked better there. I was told that this copper pot was purchased In Vancouver , down on Hastings- Gastown in the artsy part of town. The copper would be beautiful shined up but I love the patina, The beautiful lion heads are of brass and are gorgeous. Please note the dent on the side, which is easy enough to fix. The copper pot is 10 " across with handles, 8" on top, 7" on bottom 5" tall with a weight of over 2 pds. The lion handles are 4" by 3". Downsizing means getting rid of the big things, I have a lot of little copper cauldrons, which will be going up for sale but the big things go first. IT was actually one of the first things I received given as a wedding gift when I was quite young. There are alot of memories in that pot, oh if it could talk. IT would be a lovely gift for mother's day, Christmas, housewarming gift or a wedding gift. I would put a plant in it, a bottle of wine and glasses, handmade napkins, or set a bowl in it and and put ice in it in the man cave. Retro tongs and he would be excited.
