So its official. I am done taking this copaxone. I decided today, that i am not taking it anymore. Its super unhealthy in my opinion and i dont want to be putting that poision into my body. I knew i was going to stop at some point. I weaned myself off of it. Its normally 3x a week, i went down to twice a week, then once a week. The last few times have been every other week.
The last few weeks, i have actually felt a bit better. It could be getting off the copaxone, or it could be the lions mane im taking. Either way, I'm glad.
For those who dont know, copaxone is for ms. It doesnt help with any of the symptoms, and lowers your immunity to hopefully stop your body from attacking itself. You have to alternate where you give the shote because it will eat away at the muscle. The last year, ive had 3 teeth just randomlly crumble. Turned out thats one of the side effects. 1. i am not losing my teeth for this. 2. If it does that to my teeth, just imagine what its doing to my bones.
I posted my 2020 goals, and the first one was changing my eating to eventually stop eating gluten, dairy, and processed foods. Basically a paleo diet. A lot of people with ms started this diet, and it pretty much was better than any medicine doctors would give you. It left people feeling great and better than they ever did. They are actually in the process of doing studies on how this diet can actually help ms. It stops the progression of the disease. So im working towards "food is medicine."
