Kids dragged me out of bed to the Pumpkin Patch. I just dropped both of these little lights of mine off at preschool! They were so excited to go to school TOGETHER that neither of them remembered to give me hugs and kisses before walking through the gate! I miss them so much but I’m so proud of how well adjusted and independent they are and how much they love each other! Before May 19th comes and goes, I have to wish my baby boy (😭😭😭) a very Happy 3rd Birthday!!! I have said it to you probably 20+ times today but amidst the chaos that is a Mischa-esque birthday party, I didn’t get to tell the world how incredibly lucky I am to be your mom! Not many know that when I found out that I was pregnant with you 6 months after your sister was born, I was so scared that I could never love another baby as much as I did your sister, that I had a hard time enjoying my pregnancy because it was riddled with fear and guilt. The idea that I couldn’t possibly be able to spread my love, time and attention evenly amongst the two of you seemed so daunting and scary. But...since the moment you were born 3 years ago, you made my life so much richer and full of love that I have never once had those same worries. You loved your mama so fierce from moment one that you very quickly made me realize that even though life didn’t go according to “plan”, you were meant to be my son and I was meant to be your mama. You are my loving, smart, kind, go lucky mamas boy and I am forever grateful that I get to be your mom. Happy birthday sweet boy! I love you so much!
