My first brown suit purchased 5 years ago..its made by Caruso, to their highest line, Parma.. some neopolitan details with the open quarters and slightly shorter jacket.. tons of handwork through out the jacket to the hand made button holes, to the hand padded lapel.. Caruso also makes Ralph Lauren’s, highest line, Purple Label (in terms of their suits and blazers) and make it in the likeness and quality of their parma line as well.. I’ve owned a purple label made by St. Andrews and two that I own now, made by Caruso.. while I prefer the St. Andrew’s made purple label suit, the Caruso made suit is still impressive..Cut slim, but with clean lines, I love how the suit (and the caruso made purple labels suits) drape on my body.. many people that see it in real life usually ask me where I had it made (made to measure wise).. clean line on the shoulders, a nice 3 roll 2 configuration and medium waisted pants...the only thing I would change is a slightly longer jacket and a very slightly lowered button stance.. still a great cut in my mind..the shoes are also one of my favorites from JM Weston.. saw this in a store in SF six years ago and loved it.. a friend of mine who worked at a sales person in Barney’s back then was able to hook me up with a discount and I wear it often now.. really nice leather (full grain) on a good year welt with some hand stitching throughout the shoe..the French know what they are doing! The watch was a gift to myself when I finished graduate school.. I purchased it and had it refurbished.. been going strong for the last 9 years now..
