I feel like the world forgot about this gem of a website way too quickly! Save the Pacific Northwest Tree Octopus is a hilariously absurd masterpiece. It’s basically… gosh, I don’t even know how to begin describing its ridiculousness. It’s all about a completely made-up animal, but presented in a way to seem as real as possible. They even went as far as linking to other fake sites and citing “professionals” to back it up. One of the so-called “experts” on the site even has updates from as recently as 2022! I think the site has been around since 2014 or maybe earlier? If you have some free time, please dive into this bizarre rabbit hole, it’s worth it!! I feel like it’s something bill cypher would love not gonna lie…
