Major Piece 2- PINK (pt 2)
The second piece is titled 'PINK'. This work is an investigation of space. I consider how we fill our space and the things we choose to exclude from that space. I chose to document everything pink in my apartment. To do so, I recorded a walk around my home as I smacked everything pink with a wooden spoon. This soundscape documents the space I've chosen to fill with pink items and the space between the items. This piece is presented by being played simultaneously with a reversed recording and the swirling of a bin filled with useful but unwanted items.
