I posted this about 2 years ago and I can tell you that things are not much better than they were back then, in fact they might be a little worst. In this presidential election people are confusing common courtesy with political correctness. Being politically correct or not, has nothing to do with showing courtesy and love to others. I think that some people feel like they have a license to be hateful, like they've had it in their hearts and have just been waiting for someone of power to back them up, to make them feel encouraged to express their hate. Specially now in the Trump campaign and somewhat in the Sanders campaign. It's baffling to me how some people's criteria for evaluating a person involves race and or ethnicity. Or when some people say that their neighborhood is going down hill be cause people of other races are moving in. I specially hate when Hispanic people do this, because being Hispanic is not a race, it's a combination of multiple races. Sometimes I say to myself, who the f*ck is this person discriminating? What the f*ck have they done? Are they a valued member of the community? Are they giving back to their community and making a difference? Last I checked being faired skinned doesn't mean sh*t, it doesn't mean that you're educated, or a valued member of the community.
