When in school I read a line in my Hindi textbook which went like (from memory) - साहित्य के पन्क-पयोधि में मै कभी नहीं गिरा (I never fell for cheap literature). On smartphones we get cheap content (digital literature) easily. Visual content is more appealing and the effect it has on impressionable minds is devastating.
