ji hansol's anger usually only arises in high stress situations: the ones where adrenaline is pumping through his veins and where, more often than not, he is dodging a punch or two. even then, the boy is able to differentiate such fleeting emotions with what could be real anger. because ji hansol is, above all, a pretty chill, understanding guy.
so as he feels the skin his baggy shorts fail to cover stick and melt against the chair of his desk , he truly convinces himself that he is not angry .
he is peeved, at best. even goes as far as googling synonyms for anger in order to pin point exactly what he is feeling. the heat taking over the apartment alone is suffocating: it's the kind that stops him for leaving a window open, and the kind to wrap around him no matter how strategic the placements of his fans are in his room. and his mind is buzzing: from the warmth and from the herd of tiny spiders rapidly scrambling all over the large surface of his desk. it really all feels like a vicious cycle: the heat, the incessant buzzing in his head, the mimimimimimimi !!! like noise coming from the spiders.
" look , i'm sure she didn't mean to kill him , he probs just for sure scared her or somet- okay , i'm obviously not excusing murder but - UGH - okay !! fine !! i'll go , i'm going , ugh , come here . "
the knock on his roommate's door is rather loud - rather out of character considering how laid back he typically is. and the scene in itself is absurd, he knows it: him standing there, hand raised and open with a little spider at his palm.
"how many times," he begins, skipping the pleasantries of greeting minji. "have i told you. not to kill. the spiders. in this apartment." hansol is certain he can feel his eye twitch then, using all of the self control in the world to keep his voice at a pleasant, polite, tone. he raises his hand a little further up, as if to put the bug under an imaginary spotlight.
" you killed her boyfriend . apologize . "
