If you don't know about #rawdenim or #whiteoakconedenim aka #conedenim go check it out, dying breed of fabric making and quality that is incomparable to cheap modern #denim making techniques. These @levis are made with @conedenim from North Carolina and instead of #pearlsnaps with has #gunmetal #snapbuttons and a gun metal-ish black color to it. This one-of-a-kind pair of shibori dyed jeans has been very well-traveled with novel history. Originally hand-dyed by master artist @shojifujii_jp in the old town of Arimatsu, in Nagoya city, which has 400 years of history and Japanese heritage creating shibori dyed clothing such as Kimonos for Japanese feudal lords and wealthy merchants. The shibori dyed selvage denim was then sewn into jeans in Hiroshima, Japan.
