Oh, what have I just done? Perfume World World X9 : Omajinai Perori ; Kareshi Boshuuchuu ; Sweet Donuts ; Monochrome Effect ; Elevator ; Vitamin Drop ; Akihabalove ; Linear Motor Girl ; Computer City
Event Report: Joshin Denki Pit One Sannomiya Building No. 1 - 2006.01.23
I went to the event in Kobe. It was held in a room on the 9th floor of the store that had a stage and seating for the audience.
First, Mr. Okite Porsche came out, and there was an ōgiri (a comedy game where participants give humorous answers to prompts). I don't remember it very well, but during the ōgiri, the answers had apparently already been written in advance. They pretended to be writing their answers anyway, and were actually writing something else. Since the answer sheets had autographs on them, I wonder if they were signing them.
After that, they answered questions that audience members had submitted beforehand. Nocchi said that she used to call herself "A-chan," but apparently no one else called her that. During dance lessons (I think?), she was called "Yanocchi" because, at the time, adding "-chi" to people's names was trendy. However, according to them, it was A-chan who gave Nocchi her nickname in the first place.
According to Perfume, Yasutaka Nakata isn't actually all that emotionally attached to Perfume. They said that he forgot he had already written a song called "Computer Driving" and ended up writing "Computer City." They also said that he accidentally deleted "Juicy Fragrance" (I think that was the title).
They also talked about the venue where the Fukuyama event had been held. When Okite Porsche said he knew the place because he had recently been to Fukuyama, Nocchi responded with something like, "Oh, right." It seemed that Nocchi also knew about it.
After that, they performed "Computer City." I was really glad I got to see them sing it.
The handshake session lasted about 30 seconds, so there wasn't much time to talk. One of the questions I had submitted in advance was to Kashiyuka: "Have you figured anything out about Nocchi?" She replied that she still hadn't. Sorry for causing trouble with that question.
When I got home, I ended up with a headache. I wish I weren't so physically weak. I want to build up my stamina and go to another event again.
