Is it bad that I- kinda hate y/n?
It’s obviously a very popular writing style, especially in the dca fandom, and I’ve seen so many people using it as replacement therapy which is all well and good, I’m happy for you guys /gen.
But am I the only one that wants to read about other people’s stories? Other people’s characters? I want to hear their stories, not my own spun by someone else’s hands.
This is not an attack at all, just something I wanted to say. I still read y/n stories (partly bc they’re hard to avoid) but usually I just pretend it isn’t me in that character’s shoes.
But ye, am I the only one? Keep writing you talented AO3 people.
