The community guidelines here are crap and while I would encourage those creators to creator alternate accounts to post like imagr.com(They have a app finally!), bluesky or even Twitter(refuse to call it by its current name). I 'm glad after multiple if not dozens of times shit canned your blog you came back! I truly thank you! If you do have accounts on those site leave your handle so I or others can follow you there in case Tumblr decides to clean house yet again.
Crazy you can get a Twitter suspension for "violent speech", for saying "Jake Lang needs his shit blown out" in reference to debating him. There's no reason to talk to people like that, just blow their shit out and keep moving.
Jake's whole thing is racism and hate speech. He's allowed to live stream that if he wanted. You can find someone's asshole in .8 seconds if you searched. You can find murdered people's bodies uncensored on Twitter. You can find riots, murder, sex, drugs, racism, etc on Twitter and I'm a problem for saying Jake needs to get his ass beat😂

The Users of Tumblr Tags Don't Actually Get To Dictate How Tags Are Used... The Cat Named Doctor Who Exception
I'm not a fan of people using tags in ways they weren't intended.
At the same time, the community doesn't actually have control over how tags are used so long as the tags are relevant.
I've seen some misinformation about the Tumblr community guidelines spreading that argues that tags are communities, and that those communities get to determine how the tags are used... And that's just NOT true.
Reminder(again since this keeps coming up) that tumblr tags are like communities with their own rules. One of the rules of the syscourse tag is that you are expected to discourse if you use it. Otherwise your post is spam and against tumblr TOS. It doesn't matter how relevant to a tag you think your post is if the tag is not used that way.
I absolutely HATE the cowards who want to come into syscourse while hiding behind DNIs as much as anyone, but this is a gross mischaracterization of Tumblr's community's guidelines.
The actual community guidelines make this clear with a very poignant exception... The cat named Doctor Who...
No, you cannot spam completely unrelated tags... but it's also not the community who generally posts in those tags that get to decide if the tags are unrelated or not.
Doctor Who fans might not want to see the posts about the cat named Doctor Who in their tags, but they don't really get a say on whether said cat is allowed to be posted in the Doctor Who tag. Because the tag is relevant! It's the name of the cat!
The rules aren't about tagging things that the community would personally disagree with. They're meant for the extreme cases of things that are wildly unrelated... like cats who aren't named Doctor Who.
Now for the love of the gods, stop your proto-fascist bullshit of trying to get accounts banned with false reports for things that clearly aren't breaking the rules.
If you don't like people posting syscourse-related posts while hiding behind DNIs, go yell at them in their inbox like a normal person instead of trying to get them banned for things that don't break any rules.
