Just started playing Baldur's Gate and I'm loving it so far!
The only thing that bugs me is that in the ambient sound, there are Common Loon calls in the background NOWHERE NEAR a body of water big enough for them to live or nest!! There are streams, there are rivers, there's a spooky swamp, but no LAKES!!
Like I know they're the stereotypical "spooky bird call" thats used in all sorts of movies and shows but like,,, THEY NEED LAKES TO LIVE IN DURING WARM SEASONS AND THERE ARE NO FUCKING LAKES IN THE STARTING AREA!!
WHERE THE FUCK ARE THEY, SOUND DESIGNERS?? WHY AM I HEARING LOONS WHERE THERES NO FUCKING LAKES???

Growing Up
Photographer: Raymond Hennessy, US.
Great northern divers (known as common loons in North America) and their chicks take to the water soon after the chicks hatch. The size difference between adult and youngster is evident in this image and shows just how much growing is left for this tiny chick.
