"Chess Set Dedicated to the 200th Anniversary of the Great Patriotic War of 1812 (32 pieces)" crafted by Alexander Krylov, Russian Federation, 2011.
Materials: amber, wood, velvet
I just found another from a while ago. I named this
Decaying Flora, Part 2.
This was a continuation of a photo I was trying to collate into a photo-series; documenting plants which lay for those who had passed. I was trying to show the connection between the life, death, and rebirth cycle, and most importantly trying to find beauty in the morose.
I hope you like this, I'll try to find the original and add it in for context.
