Today, I’d like to share the work of an extremely dedicated peer of mine. Their work was a great inspiration for mine when I first started out on WEBTOON.

“Maple Tree” is one of, if not my favorite small WEBTOONs, and it deserves more attention. The creator has experienced lots of criticism by small-minded people, and deserves just as much respect in return.

These are from a scrapped comic project I started years back but never completed. A lot of the bones of this project were integrated into BAF.

My main character, here pictured as the stone-skinned goliath woman “Eleanor” was a heavy inspiration for Bridgette’s character. Many of her original attributes became Bridgette’s seamlessly.

Still, I’d love to revisit this project someday…
